A birthday well celebrated!

Holly was well and truly spoilt rotten this year. Nanny and Pa and Aunty Pol and Marley have all just left us and gone home. We had a jam packed few days and lots of fun. We miss you all already xx
Taking birthday calls.

Yesterday the four of us piled in the car for a BIG girls day out to see .... MARY POPPINS!!!
It was so much fun, we had a quick bite to eat at the cellar bar, then walked around to Her Majestys Theatre. The show was amazing. The sets were unlike no other, it was a great show (My sister and I have decided we want to star in musicals - despite our complete lack of singing and dancing skills!) Holly loved it - especially when Mary Poppins flew over the audience! She lasted really well until about the last 15 minutes when she got very restless (it was a 3 hour show!).

By the way we are all rugged up and it was slightly cold (freezing according to the Queenslanders) however today it was so hot the air conditioner went on!

Happy Birthday Moo!

Kissing the nearest boy!

A NEW BIKE!!

Holly and her new purple bike! She was amazing, never having had ridden a bike before she jumped on and rode all the way to Knox and back! She did such a good job!

Pa and I were next to her the whole way (apart from me trying to document her entire first ride!)

This is Phar Lap aka Alexander aka Samuel ( he changes names regularly!). We ride past this horse (who lives out the front of the paint shop) every time I ride Holly to kindy on the bike. She has been asking me for ages if she can hope on top and have a ride. I kept telling her, one day when Daddy is with us, maybe! Well, Pa was up to the challenge! She jumped off her bike and sat on the horse!

Birthday Morning

What a beautiful little 4 year old
Holly woke up to a treasure hunt to find her bike! She is still saying it was the best part of her birthday!

trying on a buzzy bee costume! cute!

Playcentre

Marley xxxxx

It was Hollys special day so she got to choose what she wanted to do on her birthday. She was very lucky to have Nanny and Aunty Pol take her to the movies to see tangled for the morning, followed by treats and trampolines! Then she asked if we could all go to a playcentre together ... Holly's choice! So off we all went!

Hollys 4th Birthday Party!!!

Can you believe this Missy Moo is about to turn 4! Tomorrow to be exact. 4 years seems to have gone in the blink of an eye, from such a teeny tiny dot of a baby to this beautiful, happy and confident little girl. We love you Holly and hope that tomorrow is just as much fun as your party was on Sunday (bit hard to beat on a weekday I know!)

Party Games

This was such a cute game, a race to see who could attach the most pegs to themselves.

even Harry had a go

The Speech!

This gorgeous little girl make the most beautiful speech. Confidently and loudly she thanked everyone for their beautiful gift!

Darling cousins
Decorating her cupcake - there ended up being more decoration than cake!

Harry's first ice cream

Unlike his big sister who was at least 2 before she even had a lick of ice cream, Harry has found the holy grail of food - he shakes when he sees the cones come out of the cupboard!

"Hey, Dude, you better not be thinkin of stealing my cone!"

Some painting on the deck

Back home again

Ourfamilyfreeman has now returned to normal - as normal as we get anyway! We are home and glad to be back. We had a lovely holiday but as Dorothy said "there's no place like home". Since being back we have done a trip to Queenscliff for lunch and today we went rasberry picking. Hopefully the next post will be some pix of the rasberry jam i plan to make!
We hope you are all having a good break xx
Harry's new shaving kit Aunty Gabe gave him!
after 5 days on the Gold Coast, we headed up to Brisbane and stayed with Tom and Mia for 2 nights. We celebrated New Years at their house, which was lovely. We were actually asleep by 8pm which left Mamma and Daddy to have a few drinks!
The next day we headed over to the Hills house for dinner. Its been a while since we caught up with Adam and Renee. Their girls are just gorgeous.

If you think Holly looks a bit funny, its because Alexandra and Sarah got makeup from Santa and they all "painted" their faces!
