Lucy - 3 months old

Our teeny tiny little girl is 3 months old already! She is not so teeny tiny any more - she has just hit 5kgs. She is out of newborn nappies and had a growth spurt.  According to the health nurse she is "long and lean".  Her stats are almost identical to Holly's at the same age.
Lucy is just an angel. She is the most gorgeous baby and is still smothered with kisses and cuddles from all of us.
She is smiling a lot now and will smile on cue when you ask her. She is so placid and we can already tell has a very soft nature.  She slept through the night 7-7 at 12 weeks for 4 nights in a row, however has woken for a 3am feed for the past 3 nights??? Fingers crosses she remembers how to do it again real soon!  Lulu is so easy going - she barely cries and just loves to be held and talked too.  She is getting quite good at talking back to us now to and goo's and gaa's when we chat to her.
We love you Luce - Happy 3 months xx

Around the house

A lazy Sunday morning on the couch - all fast asleep ... well Harrys was - The others were pretending!
This is not a very good photo of Andrew at all, but I had to post it, doesn't Lucy look like him???
I love this photo, I forgot to post it with the Moama ones. They look like little ducks following the mother duck!  Aunty Katie took them up to the adventure park one morning and gave us all a sleep in - best Aussie Day morning sleep in EVER!
Holly was nagging  asking me yesterday afternoon if they could play on the slip and slide. I was in a mad rush trying to get dinner organized and settle Lucy.  I told her that the grass was very long and might not be that good for the slide - with that she said "we will cut it"! "with what?" I asked, "scissors of course silly!" and with that, Holly and Harry sat happily on the grass for about 40 minutes cutting the grass - while I made dinner xx

 My beautiful pre-preppy xx
H & H decided to wear their undies on the outside the other day and play super heros! I seriously don't even know where they get this stuff from? They have never seen a superhero film or cartoon???

HARRY! two and eight months

Our little man at 2 and 8 months, where did the time go??
The most delicious boy in the "whole wide world" (this is Harrys favourite saying at the moment! Everything is the Best or his Favourite "in the whole wide world"
This is a terrible iphone photo (even for an iphone!) but last week Harry took to putting on empty glasses everytime he picked up a book!!!

At St Kilda Fest on Sunday - Chillin watching a band (the Kazoos! - not exactly what Mum and Dad had in mind when they were heading to the festival!)

First day at Billanook - Pre Prep

Our beautiful Holly had her first day at Billanook College on Wednesday.  She has started pre prep there and will be going 3 days a week 8.45 - 3pm.
She was SO excited and had "so much fun!".  She happily waved goodbye and gave both Harry, Lucy and I a kiss and hug and walked off and sat on the mat with the other kids.  When I picked her up, she talked the whole way home (25 minutes!) and seemed like she had grown up by about 3 years!  She made a few friends on the first day and has had a ball every other day.
She was telling me about something really funny that had happened in the sports class and said "it was SOOOO funny Mama, I totally laughed my hips out!!" I think she meant, laugh her head off!  Holly had the funniest way of mixing up sayings at the moment and Andrew and I are constantly laughing at what she comes out with.
Her Teacher is Miss Hollie, and at dinner time on her first day, she asked if she could change her name and spell it like Miss Hollies!  I think she is going to have a great year and be well and truly ready for Prep in 2013!

MOAMA 2012

Last Monday we returned from our annual family holiday in Moama.  This year there were 6 families and over 30 of us holidaying together! We had so much fun, it is one holiday we all look forward to each year.  The kids all has an absolute ball as did the adults.  The boys did their annual float down the Murray in their rubber dingys and this year us girls did a day at Millewa day spa retreat .. bliss!  And as usual, we are already looking forward to next year!
