Fun day at lake mountain, the girls first time seeing snow! Holly still has laryngitis so her and I had s girls day and met up for dinner with everyone at Giant Steps Healsville.

Volunteer

Being a volunteer can be  challenging, demanding and just hard work, but it is so rewarding. Last Sunday was netball grading day, so much work goes in behind the scenes and on the day from the committee. I woke up Sunday to Holly still sick as a dog with laryngitis and it was then I realized I’d be volunteering all day on a Sunday with out my little netballer enen there. 

But in a surprise turn of events, Lucy decided to get up and dressed by 7.30 and join me for the day. She is a little legend, she was so helpful to everyone, amused herself, made friends with the older kids and was just damn mature for her age! God I love this kid and love how silver linings appear in unexpected circumstances.
