Lockdown day 30

Today we ditched most of the school work and Harru and Lucy did an ANZAC  challenge. They had to find out about ANZAC day then make cookies ... alone! I was on work calls the whole time, they did a fantastic job and yummy results!

Briony came for 2 hours.

We went for a massive 2 hour walk this afternoon which was bliss! Oh and some chess and UNO on the tramp!

On a work note I also played a virtual game of UNO with my maths group today! Who would have thought!

Lockdown day 29

Briony came today and helped with schooling- a huge help! Everyone was over school though bumpy the afternoon so we went for a massive 2 hour walk and played on the oval.

Lockdown day 28

Homeschooling is back and is still not fun! I had called Briony by 12pm and employed her to tutor as of tomorrow!

We went for a nice big walk and found another hidden path we didn’t know about. Lucy played puppets, holly did a zoom netball session and dumplings for dinner!

Today is Briony’s birthday, we we spent the day baking and making her a gift. We dropped it off this afternoon with Happy Birthday pumping from the car stereo! 

We also had court drinks in our driveways!

Lots of grass watering, breaky on the deck. A big walk around the neighborhood and Holly made face masks and then taught Harryband Luce.

Kids did a great job today on their school work!! Super impressed! We may have found our groove, it only took 3 days! Cheers to the weekend!

Lucy did a great job on a poster project, Holly did a full Zoom netball workout and I actually left the house for a haircut!

The only thing that kept me sane today was this absolutely beautiful backyard 🙌🏻. And a game of soccer on the way to the cafe.

Homeschooling is crap.

Tomorrow is a new day ☀️ 

Lockdown day 22

Today was my first day back at work. Overwhelming would be an understatement! I’m just glad I started back a day before the kids. I did 5.5 hours of back to back video calls.

Kids all start back tomorrow, they had a chat on the phone with their teachers today just to check in and are ready to go. We will be taking it easy though. 

We went for a walk to the coffee shop. The backyard is well under way and turd being laid tomorrow.

Lockdown day 21

Motorbikes in the backyard before the landscaper comes tomorrow! A fire and toasties for dinner over the fire. More LEGO challenges and it also made its way into our pantry! 

A big walk/run  for me. Back to work (from home) tomorrow!
