Happy 14th birthday to our beautiful baby girl! How are you 14!!! We love you so much Luce, you keep us on our toes but we wouldn’t have it any other way! You are fun and carefree and love to have a good time, you love to be a part of anything that’s happening. Whether that’s cooking, organizing, running a Bunnings bbq, serving people or setting up an event you want to be a part of it. You have grown so tall! You are almost my height now and yesterday there was only 1cm between you and Holly! You have a bit to catch 6foot 1 Harry though. You love Harry and Hol fiercely and look up to them in every way. You LOVE your friends and have made a lovely group. Life is a lot about netball right now and umpiring, you have done so well this year. I love you so so so much, even when you give me stink eye for no good reason! Happy birthday honey, love you forever xx

So proud of you Hol

I’m sitting in the car (waiting for you to come out of your first exam) reflecting on how incredibly proud I am of you. Thirteen years of schooling have led to this moment, these exams, but you already know Hol, because we’ve talked about it so often: results don’t define you or your worth.

What matters is the effort you’ve put in, even on the days you didn’t want to. You kept going, showing true resilience and strength. That’s what makes me proud beyond words.

Good luck today for your first exam, but remember, once this is over, it’s just one small chapter behind you. The best part is ahead, you’re free to live your life exactly how you want, and I can’t wait to see where it takes you.
