It wasn't quite the Family Fun Sunday without Daddy here, but never the less, we had a great day. We headed into the city on a train where Mamma did her best to pretend we were looking at birds when I pointed to some weird and colourful city people! We happened stumbled across a festival, but not quite the festival we usually trapse into the city for ... it was Budda day! We managed to find someone to paint my face and get a balloon, so to me it was a festival as normal! We had lunch, played at Birrarung Marr and then headed back on the train. We had a ball and were exhausted by the time we hit home xx
action shot - straight from hollywood!

Dadda, I promise to be good if you take me with you?
We all miss you .... Hurry up and come home xxxxxxxxxxxx

I was totally sure that Harry was more a Norrie than a Freeman, but since Aunty Gabe found this photo the other day, there is no denying he is a Freeman through and through.
In the middle is Andrews Dad - Adrian - an uncanny resemblance!

As the Freeman stories go, this was Andrews most favourite thing to do in the world when he was a baby! I popped Harry in the bottom drawer last night and he was the happiest he could have been! He chattered and banged away for 30 minutes while I cooked dinner ... Hooray for the tupperware drawer!
My darling Girl is just gorgeous. We were running super late the other morning, so she voulenteered to feed Harry his breaky. What a star. 3 weetbix later - all the ironing was done and we were ready to leave ... on time!

yesterday was one of those days where a moment like this was well and truely savoured by my Mamma! lets just say ourfamilyfreeman was a little caotic!
Chill and Ivy doll had a sleepover - the tinytots were engrossed in watching the big kids bath.

luckily for Mammas sanity the sun came out and we all got to play outside - and have a deck picnic .... the first of many I am sure.

Mamma's latest creation - a nice warm winter hat

Today we made sausage rolls - we didn't do a bad job either - Daddy said they were the best he had EVER had!! Not a bad compliment from an ol chef!

and then we made sushi

Yesterday I got all dolled up, packed my handbag and took harry to a show.
Mamma babysat Leopard (my babydoll).
Holly has the most amazing imagination, she organized me to babysit for her, giving me complete directions on how to put her doll to bed and how to feed and bath her!!! Then she took Harry to the lounge room and sat on the beanbag and pretended to watch a show - which she completly narrated of course!!!

A very belated thank you to Aunty Tani and the Pacos, for this gorgeous dress they sent me.
I love, love, love it!
I can't get Holly out of dresses these days, I really have to bribe her to get her to wear pants. Thank god for stocking and boots this winter or she would freeze!

our favourite thing to do on a Sunday morning is to catch the train into Camberwell or Cantebury for breakfast .... its been a while (with moving/visitors/operations/renovating - the list goes on!) but we finally made it back this morning.

Harry LOVED the train ride, even more than his sister I think .... must be a boy thing?

Downing her weetbix before Kindy

would you believe Harry sat like a king in Hollys doll cot for half an hour yesterday while she pushed him all around the house like her very own baby doll! Hilarious, she even gave him a bottle and he pretended to drink out of it!!! Very funny and super cute.

Exhibit A.
ok, so Mamma got a little inspired the other day. The wonderful Aunty Uyen came over (to help mamma for the day) & bought her sewing machine. They were both so excited to be sewing, even if they only made a little bib! Afterwards Mamma got carried away & stayed up all night sewing. Exhibit A. a fully lined and padded and cotton-bamboo lined sleeping bag for Harry! My mamma is so clever .... just ask her, she will tell you.

Exhibit B.
A very cute pair of Pj pants for the boy.

Exhibit C.
and some for the girl.

Exhibit D.
and the bib that started the whole craze.

10 and a half months
Holding on tight to his FAVOURITE book, Dear Zoo. He only has to see us pick it up and he goes nuts. I started reciting it in the car the other day while he was crying and he instantly stopped!

You can never start too early!

three little besties.
You guys are SO gorgeous together.
we hope you will stay friends like this forever xx

8 days apart and 8kgs apart (not quite, but it feels like it!)
