My birthday is not until tomorrow, but today I had my party at Chesterfield Farm. Chesterfield Farm is a gorgeous little farm (on about 50 acres) 10 minutes from our place. It is awesome. We had a wonderful day and I was totally spoilt (as i should have been). We played pass the parcel, sang Happy Birthday, ate cake, had a terrifying tractor ride, that turned to mayhem (and resembled the boat scene from willy wonka!) when it started bucketing down! I played with bunnies, goats, lambs and chickens ... I had the best birthday party ever with all my gorgeous family and friends xx

The bunnies are by far my favourite!

Harry had loads of snuggles with Pa today, and ended up falling asleep like this for half an hour!

cutting the cake, and I had to kiss the closest boy ... lucky Oz was close by!
Mamma gave me the womans weekly cake book last week and let me pick the cake I wanted for my party. After totally freaking Mamma out with my selections, she said I could pick 3 and she would have the final say (seriously some of those cakes need an engineer on site to assemble!) we both settled on a rainbow. Not too bad!

Our darling boy was just an angel at the party, what a treasure.
As Holly would say ... "are you my treasure? The answer is YES!!!"

Besties!
3 little pretties xx

and we had quite successful game of pass the parcel, not even tear! It probably helped that all my friends got a present!

and it wouldn't be a party with out some dancing ... go Indie and Piper!

a birthday kiss for Dadda
Reading Pa a goodnight story.
A book that I can just about read cover to cover!

3 gorgeous generations

Oscar and I have been spending most of our summer holidays* together.
Today we caught the train (with Harry and Ginger) to Cantebury and shopped and had lunch on Mailing road, it was a really cool morning.
*Kindy is still out as is swimming - that constitutes as summer holidays for us!
Oscars excitement about the train even started to wear off on me!

watiting for our train
(and yes, they were holding hands before the camera came out - without our instruction!)

Thanks for the swim Oz, see you tomorrow!
(and just to recap on an earlier post - we don't make them do this, they do it themselves!)

Besties!

We hope you had a great birthday Aunty Katie! We love you xx H & H

I think the blue eyes are here to stay!

I just adore my brother - as I tell Mamma and Dadda - I love him to the moon and back! oh and if you look closely, Daddy made our shirts for us!
Harrys is the book cover of "Harry and the Horsie" and mine is a picture of Holly Golightly from Breakfast at tiffanys (who Mamma says i was named after - in retrospect!) and it says "Guess what Holly ... I love you" cause thats what I say to Daddy and Mamma!
I have the best Daddy in the whole wide world!!! Ps, he made Mamma a shirt too!

Summer is now well and truely upon us - and even though I am half queenslander - we Freemans much prefer to stay with in the confined walls of air conditioning. Today hit around 38 degrees - so we pulled out the craft box and made some birthday cards. If your birthday is coming up, look out for one of our "beetle" cards - made from my very own thumb prints!!!!

The finished product!

Where is the time going? Although he can't pull himself to this position, he loves to stand at the couch, and today, by the bath!
and Harry Pie loves sitting in the bath - Holly thinks its pretty fun too!

When I heard Harry wake up from his morning nap today, Mamma was in the shower, so I went in and looked after him! This is how Mamma found us 5 minutes later xx Very cute!

Then I thought it was just fun to stay in the cot!

Its the little pocket rocket up on all 4's! Getting ready to take off!
We have had an eventful couple of days. Yesterday we all headed into the city with Ame and Aunty Uyen and danced and sang for an hour with Hi5, it was so cool to see them in person. Today Mamma took Harry and I back to the Arts centre to the State Theatre to see the English Ballet perform Angelina Ballerina. It was just beautiful - As I told Mamma afterwards "there were no words just dancing" and after a rocky start (we were a bit close to the stage for my liking) I was mezmerized by the entire show. A definate must-see for next year - And it has also rekindled Mammas love for the arts - I think she is booking to go to the Ballet!

Harry is getting better each day at sitting, I am now trying to teach him to crawl! He is up on all 4's rocking, so it might not be too far away!
Missy Moo fell fast asleep on the couch watching TV

We caught the boat back from Queenscliff to Sorrento on the weekend ... it was very windy up top!

and found! Bella is home safe and sound. After 2 nights astray, she showed up at a local vet. She was found by a lovely family (one street away from our old house) who took her to their local vet. We are so happy to have her back, we were lost with out her!

LOST
Our darling Bella went missing on New Years Eve. We think she was spooked by the storm and fireworks and dug a hole in the back fence. We spent the best part of yesterday creating, laminating and putting flyers up all over wantirna. We have door knocked, letter box dropped and called countless animal agencies.
If you know anyone in the our area (eastern suburbs) could you please text them the following details for us - we are all lost without our 5th Freeman
King Charles Cavalier - Female - Desexed - 8 years old - Tan and white, lost NYE from Wantirna - Bella
