Holly Funny

We were at Stringybark Festival today at the petting zoo, Holly asked lucky to move over for whatever reason and Lucy was upset. I said to Hol "just be nice to her and speak nicely"
Holly turned round and with a voice filled with years of wisdoms said "oh mum, she is just being reactive!"

Okey dokey!

God love him ...

Harry says to me tonight while I am kissing him goodnight "I don't think I want to  grow up".
"How old do you want to stay?" I asked?
"Maybe 7?"
"Why is that honey?"
"Because I will never get to just play all the time with my toys"

Such a thinker this kid.

I love this pic of Harry's!

So proud!

I couldn't be more proud of Hol. She absolutely loves her gymnastics. On the weekend while I was in Sydney she competed in a big club competition, she was so confident going in. The week before when I asked if she knew her routines, she said, I don't quite know beam, but everything else ... I'm perfect!
Well she came out of the completion with a 4th place medal!!! She was so stocked and proud of herself it bought tears to my eyes. And God love her, she wore those medals to bed for 3 nights!!!

Best girls weekend ever!

Harry funny

We were talking in the car a few weeks ago about names. The kids love hearing stories about their 'alternate' names. Like if Harry was a girl we would have called him Millie Isobel (after nan), Hollys boy name was Lachlan Jack (after Pop) and Lulu would have been Leo Jack.
The kids were saying what they would call their future kids if they had any.  After awhile Harry piped up and just said, "well it really doesn't even matter, cause my wife would have to decide with me so there is no point saying it now"
He will make the best Husband and Dad one day (just like his Daddy) I'm sure of it.

Lucy funny ... Or smart

Lucy said to me today in the car,
"Mum why is there a 'b' on the lights?"
Sure enough there was a 'b' on the lights for the bus lane.
I didn't realize she knew any letters other than her name.
Then just now when I was reading her stories in bed she said, "MUM! 'S' is similar to a '2' and '5'! But not the same."
Very clever kiddo, very clever!

Another certificate! And a lolly in her mouth!
