Lockdown day 44

No photos today! 

Harry went for another early morning ride with Andrew. He then did about 6 big laps of the block by himself, with us and with Holly. He is loving the freedom of riding around the neighborhood. 

Lucy and I ducked down to Kmart to get her some ugg boots. We made bread and had a yummy feast for lunch.Harry finished his work by 10.30!!!!!!!! Absolute record!!!

Another sunny day, afternoon spent at the park.

Lucy made this for herself for breakfast this morning, waffles, yogurt, honey and banana, the things you can make with no morning rush. 

Today Harry resisted homeschooling - not fun. He can be beyond stubborn sometimes. 

We went for a big walk/ride later this afternoon to “cool” off after a tough day.

A lazy Sunday

Lazy day, Andrew bid on a house on an online auction for day, went to Costco and bought a Dyson ... not at costco. Had a lovely 2 hour zoom with the hills tonight, miss them so much.

Dr Lucy did heart surgery and then dental surgery! Harry made another fort under the dining table where we played chess ... he beat me 3-0! Getting good!

Holly didn’t cope too well today, finding it very hard to concentrate on work with the noise and isn’t sleeping too well. Lots of cuddles today.

Work and school and rain and indoor play and zoom meetings for Holly and I = day spent looking for quiet holes to work in! 

Oh and Holly found her space in the cubby. She is DESPERATE to go back to school.

Lockdown day 36

Lots of school work today, Lucy took 3 times as long as she probably should have. Harru breezes through. Holly was a bit stressed with the workload today and is definitely missing school.

I found a very cheap bike $40 on Facebook marketplace and drive to Epping to pick it up. 

Another big walk today and lots of riding in the mud! Happy as little piggies!! Even I had a go! 

Lockdown day 35

Today was good! School went well, work went well and then we went to the cafe and park. Kids spent 2 hours on the BMX track going through muddy puddles. They had a ball!! I caught up with mum in FT and Holly left the park early for a walk with Isabella.

Now waiting for Andrew to bring home Grossi food!

Lucy and Soph bonding on FT today, matching outfits, make up and cat walks!! 

A lazy day here, I went for a big walk and got drenched, we all tried going for a walk and didn’t make it past the end of the street due to rain.

A calm end to the weekend, fingers crossed for an easier week of homeschooling

Holly made the most morish Anzac wagon wheel slice, I may have eaten more than I should have!

Harry and I went and found some containers to start the mammoth job or colour coding his LEGO! His idea. And to finish off a walk to the park where the kids showed Andrew their forte in the making and rode their bikes on the makeshift BMX tracks.

Lockdown day 32

A successful day of homeschooling! We found our sweet spot today. Modified work and slower pace. I worked until 2.30 then had a nap ... soooo good and I feel so much better after it, mentally exhausted after a big week.

When I woke up the kids had cleaned the WHOLE house!!!! OMG! My day could not have got any better! Now Uber eats for dinner 🙌🏻
