Poor baby girl

I felt so horribly helpless for Lulu this weekend. On Friday she had an appointment at the dermatologist for her moluscums (a hideous virus this is so hard to get rid of)  This was her second treatment, the first didn't really work but they told me it could take as many as 3 or 4. He put a solution (acid like) on them in a very small dose, the idea is they blister and go away.  Unfortunately she had a reaction and, her entire left underarm blisters horribly out of control.  The poor little monkey was in so much pain, she sobbed for about 6 hours. It was so sore, she wouldn't let me hold her, cuddle her or pick her up.  She didn't scream, she just sobbed asking me to make it stop and make it stop hurting.  It killed me to watch her like this.  By 9pm,  I was crying with her, she then started sobbing "it's all my fault, it's all my fault that your sad too!" Bloody hell, heart strings much!
Luckily she woke up on Saturday morning much better, most had burst overnight and were no longer painful ... thank god! It is very red and raw and still quite a few lumps, fingers cross they disappear soon!

Harry ... not so funny ...

Poor Harry, my most sweetest, beautiful, soft hearted boy.
Tonight when I was putting Harry to bed, he started asking questions again about getting older.  He is terrified of getting any older and wants to stay 6 forever.  He was beside himself sobbing asking me to find a potion to make his stay 6. It turns out the reason he doesn't want to grow older and into an adult is that he won't have his toys anymore *bless*.  He absolutely hates the idea of not having his toys when he is older, it tears him up. He know that adult don't have kids toys and he says that he knows because Andrew and I don't have any.  He hates the fact that he will out grow them! It breaks my heart hearing him sob and tell me this.  He eventually sent me out of his room to look for this potion! Poor boy! I love him so much xx

Lucy, not so funny!

After a weekend of horrendous behavior from Lucy, it was time to take action! She had a meltdown each day for 4 consecutive days over clothes.  I'd swear if she wasn't 4 that she was pre pubescent! "I hate all my clothes, I'm never wearing any of them ever again! They hurt me, all my socks have bumps in them, I don't like any of my (40) shoes"

So it was clearly time to take matters out of her hands. Sunday night while she slept (looking like a dreamy sweet angel child and not a possessed girl with horns) I removed 80% of her clothes and shoes. So far so good, her head has stopped spinning and the horns are slowly retracting .... Fingers crossed!

The shoes hadn't been cleared out yet, she has 4 pairs left.

Last night I filled out Lucys school enrolment forms, YES Lucys! It really took all my might to seal the envelope and hand it over to the office this morning.
 I said to the kids in the car this morning, can you all do me a favour and just not grow up and stay little and perfect forever? Funnily in unison, they all enthusiastically said yes!  I said "I think you should all just stay this age forever and stay with me and never leave" again they all completely agreed.  Harry then said, "Mum I will, I will try not to grow any more but I can't promise you because I really can't control my growing" then he said "maybe if you squeeze me just a little bit harder each morning when I wake up, it might stop me growing?"
If only it would work xx
