we had the best day out today. Chat GPT gave us a great itinerary for the daintree. We started at Mossman Goirge, did a small hike and ended at the swimming hole. Crystal clear running water. We then travelled north, crossed the river on a barge, and went to a lookout. Went for lunch a a cool little shack. Drive a bit further to a beach - no swimming alllod due to crocs! Kept driving to cape tribulation - a stunning beach - had a nice walk along the beach, making sure we did not go near the waters edge! Tracked back stopping At mason’s watering hole. The most spectacular swimming spot I’ve seen in a long time. Then into an organic ice cream producer, all made from fruit grown on site! The creamiest I’ve ever tasted! Then straight bavk to poet Douglas. Absolutely cracking day down all … except I didn’t see a crocodile! We finished the day with a bbq and wine on the terrace… perfect!
