Paper chains

Yesterday Holly and I were on a mission to make paper chains. So when Harry went to bed, we set ourselves up on the couch and off we went!  Holly did the whole lot herself, she folded the paper to get the creases, cut all the strips out, lined up all the sticky tape, and then put them all together.  It was really fun, and now her room is bursting with more colour with chains all around!

A nice relaxing afternoon activity.

Happy Birthday Dadda!!!
We love you so much and hope you had a super birthday and a nice and relaxed little shindig on sunday. We all think you are AWESOME and love you to pieces xx

Holly and Harry were "knighted" by Loz and Shane on Saturday at Lozzys Uni graduation bbq. They did feel very special being knighted with a rolling pin!

A Little project that I have been working on for the last week or so. It really looks much better in the flesh! You like?

My little Mermaid ...

Last weekend Holly had her first, big girls, birthday party. Alana across the road turned 6. Holly and Alana have started to become quite good friends regardless of the age difference. She was nice enough to invite Holly to her Mermaid party. Well, Alanas lovely mum is top notch sewer, so the pressure was on to create a half decent mermaid costume! This was the outcome! She looked so darn cute! we had her hair in about 20+ plaits the night before. She really did Aeriel proud!!! She had an absolute ball at the party and the other mums were all commenting on how social she was for a 3 year old.

This is how she came home, looking like a real mermaid - with a loot bag!

Harry Pie - 16.5 months

What a gorgeous little fella. He is so much like his Daddy, easy going, happy and very adaptable. I cannot believe he will be 18 months at christmas?? Where has the year gone??
He is loving smiling for the camera at the moment!

and very independant (takes after his parents!) I don't think we have spoon fed him for a good 3 months!

some santa sacks I made the kids this week.

Mamma has been very busy lately, she made me this dress! You like?
She actually had a sewing night with Aunty Uyen and Aunty Gabe on saturday night, and I think if they had of eased up on the vino, I could have scored two dresses?????

Mamma figured out if she sticks me in like this I have no way of escaping!
It's working well so far!

Ready Steady Go. Last week was athletics - we could have a javelin thrower on our hands!
Harry entertains himself for the 45 minutes while Holly wears herself out.

A little suit for Olive for her birthday ... Happy 1st baby girl!

H & H snacking together ... their favourite thing to do together.

A week of craft

Daddy was away all of last week in New Zealand, and it was raining all week, so Mamma and I got cracking on some craft projects. We made a robot from Harrys nappy box ...
a beautiful pink sparkly butterfly mask (I did this one entirely on my own!)

we are watching baldy grow some hair ...

and we turned a mass of farm animals and underwater creatures into paddle pop puppets!
