Tonight we packed up our bags, put on our hats and headed up to our local park for Christmas carols. We had a great night with fish and chips, ice cream and lollies (I didn't really eat the ice cream or lollies though - I ate a whole container of cantelope!) We sang loads of carols, danced and played in the park.
I'm almost sitting!

Tonight I pleaded with Mamma to plait my hair before bed time. I really want to have frizzy wizzy hair for the Christmas Carols tomorrow night!
Today we had a little celebration for Harry Pants .... he is half a year old!
We think he may have some bottom teeth coming,
he is eating food!
he is not too far off sitting
he loves to roll
and tries to crawl
and LOVES to talk
and adores being read to.
He giggles at the smallest things
and loves to flash his beautiful smile
he wraps his arms around our neck
and is oh so snuggly.
He can't get enough of all our kisses and cuddles
and we ALL just adore him xx
Happy 6 month birthday munchkin xx
Last night this beautiful - butter wouldn't melt in her mouth - child, stood over her little brother in the bath, & in her most serious, adult authoritive voice said
"Harry do not kick me one more time, I am the favourite Daughter!"
How we keep a serious face, I do not know!
Food glorious food!
Tonights menu was brocolli and chinese brocolli with pumpkin. With avacado for entree and pear for dessert!

Tonight we did one of the most traditional things (apart from football) that a Melbournian can do ... We lined up to see the Myer christmas windows!
This year it was the story of Olivia helps with christmas. They were so colourful and christmassy we didn't want to leave - ok, I didn't want to leave!
We had a quick bite to eat at the Florentino then walked down to see the display. All in all, a successful night - and to top it off, Harry and I fell asleep in the car on the way home! (and they're still asleep!)
Yes - Harry was there too!
Harry Pie - the MOST easy going/cruisy/laid back/placid baby EVER!
He even seems to have snapped out of his bad sleeping habbits - 2 good nights in a row! Its babies like this (I lie - Holly was very good too) that make us want to go back for more - mabe even a couple more!!!

We had his 6 month check up the other day and as suspected he is growing perfectly! With his 3 hourly midnight feasts it came as no surprise that he had a massive growth spurt ... it was more than a spurt, he shot up 5cms in 8 weeks! Poor little monkey must be exhausted! His height was in the 75th percentile. Harry weighed in at 7.28 - which is a little low and only in the 25th percentile - to be expected though with a growth spurt. Anyway enough rambling about his vitals ... He is EATING!! Hooray! We started out with some cereal - he wasn't too keen on it - a bit bland, then we moved straight on to some pumpkin. Our little monkey was thrilled to get some real food in his gob and ate the whole amount I made - which was meant for a couple of days! He is now on a strict routine and loving it. We love you Harry Barry - you are an angel xx

It is a tradition for ourfamilyfreeman to put up the christmas tree on the 3rd of December. Daddys birthday is on the 2nd so we dont' like to officially kick off the festive season until we have fully celebrated his birthday. This year however we all got a little excited and put it up on the afternoon of his birthday!
