Thursday afternoon we had a playdate cancel and the sun was shining, so we jumped in the car and headed for Chesterfield Farm for a couple of hours. 
Harry ran straight for the ride on lawn mower! I think his fascination for trucks and all things auto could quite easily flip in to an obsession any day! 
2 nights ago this tiny little door appeared in our hallway next to Holly and Harrys bedrooms. We were quite miffed at how it got there and amazed at the intricate details. however this morning the mystery was solved, we woke up to fairy dust all over the door and carpet and a tiny little letter rolled in a scroll and tied in pink ribbon. The letter explained that the fairys loved our house so much that they decided to build a door so they could come and go as they pleased. The letter was written by Twinkle Daisy who announced that she was Hollys very own personal fairy!!! 
We have just returned from a fleeting visit to the Gold Coast. We flew up to celebrate Nanny and Aunty Margs 60th Birthday. The party has been in the making for some time and it went off without a hitch! A 60's dress up theme was the scene for the night - and a colourful scene it was!!! we spent the weekend at Queenscliff a couple of weeks ago (yes I know I have been ultra slack in the world of blogging!) we had a great time and spend a lovely day with the Spargos who came all the way down for lunch xx 
Daddy thought it would be fun to dry my hair with the hairdryer - he didn't think it would be this much fun though!!! 
Holly has been begging for a while now to have all her hair chopped off. She didn't have a doubt in her mind, she wanted the lot gone! I finally gave in on Tuesday and booked her in to my hairdressers. She was such a little lady and took in the whole experience!

Harry had his first day (3 hours) at Tyner road today! The same age as Holly when she started there. Unlike his sister, he ran off, sat at a table and joined the other kids in eating some fruit for morning tea! I practicaly had to rip him away to get a kiss and a 'bye bye'!
These two were gorgeous today, Holly is so brave now and wants to have a go on all the rides, she said "no Mummy you don't need to come on with us, I will look after Harry" and that she did.

This is a terrible picture from my phone, however last night Andrew hosted/MC'ed the Annual Ray White Awards night for the first time!!! He was nothing short of Amazing - a complete professional that could have been passed off an a veteran presenter. He was a natural and everyone was VERY impressed!! Holly had asked if I could take a photo of him on stage and text it to her!

Playing hairdressers in the bath
After months of watching, waiting and singing to our little plants, we have finally started eating from our gorgeous little vegie patch!!!!
The carrots didn't work so well!
but we have a bucket load of cucumbers
and the capsicums have just poped up
and this week we ate an entire salad from our little garden!!!
