Lucy 5 months old

Happy 5 months Lulu!
Time has just flown and it feel like little Lulu is not a little fragile baby any more. She is sitting up in the bumbo, jumping around in the jolly jumper and chatting all day long!  She is seriously the most easy going baby, she barely cries and just loves watching Holly and Harry.  She sleeps like a baby (ha ha!), 7pm-7am, lately she will wake in the night with her head jammed up against the cot rail, she spins around in her sleep and wakes herself up when she hits the edge! When I pick more her back to the middle, she doesn't even flinch and is asleep with in minutes. She is such a beautiful baby and I could kiss and stare at her all day long ... if only I had the time!  She rolled for the first time the other day, from back to front. She smiles and laughs and is just perfect xx

Its funny on how everyone has an opinion on who your children look like.
However this close up could very easily be Harry.  I see a lot of Harry in Lucy now.  She looked a lot like Holly when she was born. I also think she is a lot like Katie as a baby and Mia?
Genetics are an amazing thing!

On the bottle and almost off the boob ... how sad.
Our little baby doll being wheeled around the house!
Could be twins! Leopard and Lucy.
Did I ever mention how glad I am that I never had twins?
loving that Jolly Jumper. Its such a good spot for it too. The doorway between the kitchen and playroom.

Lucy developed a strawberry spot when she was around 2 weeks old. From what we have been told and read up on, they seem to grow and then disappear around the age of two. I think its kind of cute.

My two big helpers

 I love you both
more than you will ever know

April catch up

A couple of weeks ago we had Danis 21st. It was a New York themed dress up party - us Freemans LOVE a good dress up party! Aunty Gabe made Holls the most Divine Audrey Hepburn dress (a mini Holly golightly from Breakfast at Tiffanys!) She looked AMAZING and beautiful and pulled it off perfectly ... and what 5 year old girl wouldn't want to wear this dress??!!
Holly and Harry got crafty before Easter and made their own Easter baskets. They also made one for Miles and one for Harrys kindy.

2 in the trolley and one in the baby bjorn! What an outing!

BEFORE photos

About 4 weeks ago we settled on a house in Wantirna. A grubby 4 bed, 2 bathroom on a big block. It has been a long 4 weeks, a lot of trips to the paint shop, tile shops, bathroom shops. But a month later we have finally finished (almost) and loaded it on to realestate.com for rent.
Miles renovated pretty much this whole house himself. Single handedly. Miracle worker? Or just freaking clever? You decide.

and AFTER!

We are really happy with the end result. There are still a few more things to be done, the floors will be polished over the weekend and the roof will be sprayed and the gardens planted out, but not a bad job for a 4 week turn around.
WE LOVE YOU MILES!!!!

Ready Steady Go!

Harry had his first lesson at Ready Steady Go on Wednesday.  It is an indoor sports program that focuses on a different sport each week.  We were lucky enough to secure a spot in the 3-4 year old group (so I could look after Lucy and not go in with him) and he was a little star!  He listened intently to every word his teacher (Dawn) said and followed all instructions perfectly.  He loved it! They did soccer and he had a ball!

Easter Sunday

This Blog has been some what neglected over the past 3 weeks. Partly due to time restraints and partly due to computer glitches!  We had a great Easter break.  The kids and I saw a couple of movies, Holly, Chilli and Ame had their first sleepover in a tent (and lasted the WHOLE night!) and best of all, we headed down to the beach for a little get away, just us, it was lovely.
It was so nice to get away, however, Harry was slowly recovering from croup and Andrew and Lucy ended up with Bronchitis.
Easter morning was fun though, the kids raced out of bed to see if the Easter Bunny had been, they search high and low in the yard and found every last egg!

Easter Picnic at Billanook

On the last day of school last term (yes yes, I know, this is very overdue!) ELP4 had a special picnic on the grass.  The turnout was fantastic and it was so nice to catch up with some of the other families.  At the end the kids all lined up and showed off their Easter Bonnets that they made during the week. They then all ran out the back for an Easter egg hunt.
