Harry's first batch of bicci's

Yesterday Harry and I made a big batch of Anzac Bicci's. Harry seems to love cooking. He loves to watch me cook anything ,and really seems to watch intently. He stands at the play kitchen for ages most days pretending to mix and stir. He was so cute cooking, every time I put an ingredient in the bowl, he started to stir.
He was most excited though when he knew he could eat the mixture

He is back to his gorgeous self and starting to perk up.

Seriously, I thought tantrums came with the "twos" not "ones"?? This is Harry's latest party trick. If things don't go his way, this is the outcome. Luckily they don't last too long!

A date with Betty

Today we met with Betty. The lady who is the second best hairdresser in the whole entire world! She did a stella job on both mine, and Harry's hair this afternoon. Not only is she very talented and sought after hairstylist for tiny tots, she has a very glam studio full of plasmas showing The Wiggles and Hi5, and a total fit out of toys .... we want to go back next week just for a play!!!

For wondering all morning why there was dirt next to the hallway cupboard and then realizing 2 hours later (when Harry went to bed) that it was in fact an old cigar. Harry found it in a box and had chewed the top off it!! Nice ... and very deserving of the award!

Yes the category has been revised to Mother of the Week, from Mother of the Year. We thought it was a little unfair that this award was so few and far between. Our Mamma should be acknowledged and recognized more regularly, for her dedication to her wonderful work, as our Mamma .....

Lake Mountain

We loaded up the car (with enough clothes to last us a week!) and headed up to Marysville. It was the first time we have visited again since those catastrophic fires almost 2 years ago. The place is almost unrecognisable. We visited our friends, who are rebuilding. Only 19 of the 400+ homes in the area were saved.

We then layered up in our ski gear and headed up to lake mountain. Holly love it - a hell of a lot more than last time we took her! Harry was not so sure, but played around with us for a couple of hours. We finished with a pub meal in Healsville and pulled up at home with two completely zonked little Freemans! A successful trip to the snow!
