Some random iPhone photos ...

My darling boy, who takes after his big sister and LOVES to dress up!

Harry went very quite the other day - and anyone who has ever had a toddler knows that silence is not always good. However, I went looking for him and found him like this. Under his cot, with a stack of books reading! He stayed like this for about 20 minutes! SO cute. I just love that Harry loves books as much as his big sis did.

Up on the Gold Coast last week, Holly and I shared a bed .... I sent Andrew this photo - bed-hogging must be genetic (she gets it from me not her Dad!)

On the Gold Coast

A quick trip to the Gold Coast

We have spent the last 3 days on the Gold Coast. Daddy had to work up there, so we decided it was the perfect opportunity to pop up and see everyone.
We were lucky enough to stay with Mr Marley.

A visit from G G

GG spent the week with us last week
we don't get to see her all that often, so we squeezed in as many snuggles as possible.

a bath on the deck

Hungry little Hippo!

Harry woke up after recovering from Gastro so hungry. He could not get his breakfast fast enough ...

Holly and Raquel

Since Holly was about 18 months Lizzy and I have often said how alike Holly and Raquel are. Not just in looks, but personality and mannerisms. Such gorgeous girls.

An afternoon at the park

Today seemed like one of those looong days. Don't get me wrong, it was a good day, however when you are asked for what seems like the 100th time "when is Daddy coming home?" its long! Andrew was in Sydney for one night (yes only one night) but to Holly it somehow felt like a week?! She woke up asking when he would be home and didn't stop until he walked in the door at 6pm! So at 3pm, I bundled my treasures into the bike trailer, put the dog on the lead and spent the afternoon at the park.
And by the way, it worked, it took her mind off it for, ummm, a whole 10 minutes!

by the way, Harry did have gastro, and is slowly getting better :)

Poor little sickie

Poor little Harry. He hasn't been himself for a few days. He might have gastro, but we are not sure, so we are back off to the docs today. He has vomited once each morning for the past 4 days, then sleeps for 3-4 hours and is fine? Andrew thinks he might be pregnant!!! Fingers crossed he starts to recover. xx

My little Mermaid ...

Last weekend Holly had her first, big girls, birthday party. Alana across the road turned 6. Holly and Alana have started to become quite good friends regardless of the age difference. She was nice enough to invite Holly to her Mermaid party. Well, Alanas lovely mum is top notch sewer, so the pressure was on to create a half decent mermaid costume! This was the outcome! She looked so darn cute! we had her hair in about 20+ plaits the night before. She really did Aeriel proud!!! She had an absolute ball at the party and the other mums were all commenting on how social she was for a 3 year old.

This is how she came home, looking like a real mermaid - with a loot bag!

Harry Pie - 16.5 months

What a gorgeous little fella. He is so much like his Daddy, easy going, happy and very adaptable. I cannot believe he will be 18 months at christmas?? Where has the year gone??
He is loving smiling for the camera at the moment!

and very independant (takes after his parents!) I don't think we have spoon fed him for a good 3 months!

some santa sacks I made the kids this week.

Bath Time!

Family bath time

This was from a few weeks ago .... we were out, with no kids, blind, bar hopping and didn't get home until after 3am! Won't be doing that again for a while!!

A bucket of fun!

Tonight we ate sinapore noodles on the deck. If you have never seen a 16 month old boy eat sinapore noodles unassisted, just imagine tipping a bowl of them in the washing machine and watching them stick to every piece of clothing! He was a mess! I grabbed a bucket of warm water, and well, the pictures speak for themselves!

He couldn't have been happier!

Then he started rocking ...
and rocking ...

oh, there he goes!

and the game was over! This also defeated the whole purpose of the exercise, he was then covered in grass!
