The Vicos come to Melbourne!

We had been counting down the day until The Vicos came to town - They finally made it! It has been one year since I saw my sister! They stayed with us for a whole week and experienced the chaotic life of 3 kids! It wouldn't surprise me if Filippo has already booked himself in for "the snip" ha ha ha!
We had such a lovely week hanging out, just doing the everyday things - it was perfect. Marley is a little spunk and the kids all had a ball together. We are now counting down the days until "the BIG wedding" in September, where we will see everyone again.

A visit from the Hill Family

Two weeks ago the Hill family travelled down from Brisbane to see us. It has been 5 years (almost 6) since they were here (for our wedding!) We all went down to Rye and stayed in an awesome house (that had every piece of kids and baby equipment you could imagine!). The weather was perfect, the kids got on like a house on fire and the company was second to none. It was so good to finally sit down and relax with Adam and Renee over a bottle of wine.  The kids got on so well that Holly and Sarah were both crying when they had to say goodbye (too cute!). That was two weeks ago and Holly is still asking when we will see them again!
We spent a whole morning in a park on the beach flying kites. It was one of those perfect days that they will remember for ever - days like these are what childhood memories are made of - and one that reminded us how awesome our kids are xx

Meeting William

A couple of weeks ago Vicki came to visit us all the way from Brisbane ... just for the night. It has been almost a year since we have caught up in person, and we finally got to meet William. William is 6 weeks younger than Lucy and just a bundle of love!

I feel very honoured to have been asked to be Williams Godmother, which I quickly accepted. He is a little darling and one of the happiest and giggliest babies I have met. I feel very privileged to be able to play a special part in his life. Thanks Vic and Steve - love you guys xx

Mothers day

Mothers day last week saw us racing from one place to another - we settled down for lunch at Mirka for Guys birthday and Mothers day. A great photo of all the kids with Guy.

Seestas night out!!!

Pol, Filippo and Marley joined us for the week last week. Hectic it was - but we wouldn't want it any other way! The kids all had a ball together and really enjoyed watching the dynamics between the three of them.
We were lucky enough to escape on Thursday night - the 4 of us dined at the Press Club for a truly spectacular mean.
More photos to follow soon xx

Mothers Day at Billanook

Friday morning we (the Mums) were invited (by formal invitation) to Morning Tea at Billanook.
The teachers and children put on a gourmet spread and then served us our morning tea! Holly came and asked me what I would like to eat, and then she returned with a plate full of sweet morsels.  The kids all then lined up in a row and sang the most beautiful mothers day song to the tune of twinkle twinkle!
They were then called up one at a time to present us with a bouquet of home (school) made flowers in a pot and a card! A perfect start to the mothers day weekend (and why shouldn't we have a whole weekend!!!?)

*The photo is courtesy of Miss Hollie who sent in with an email last night wishing me a Happy Mothers Day!

And me too!

I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but just over 12 months ago, a friend of mine asked if she could use Holly  as a model for a catalogue shoot for her clothing label.  And me too is the brand - the clothes are gorgeous and simple and fit well and wash brilliantly. We weren't allowed to share these photos as the shoot was done 12 months in advance for their summer collection. The photos are now avalable to look at on their website, here is the link if you are interested
www.andmetoo.com.au    - check out the clothes while you are there!

This feisty little pocket rocket is one of the three reason why I LOVE being a Mum.

She is gorgeous, entertaining, and full of personality. She is loyal and loving,

creative and very smart.

I love you Moo - our last year of being home together xx

Lucy 5 months old

Happy 5 months Lulu!
Time has just flown and it feel like little Lulu is not a little fragile baby any more. She is sitting up in the bumbo, jumping around in the jolly jumper and chatting all day long!  She is seriously the most easy going baby, she barely cries and just loves watching Holly and Harry.  She sleeps like a baby (ha ha!), 7pm-7am, lately she will wake in the night with her head jammed up against the cot rail, she spins around in her sleep and wakes herself up when she hits the edge! When I pick more her back to the middle, she doesn't even flinch and is asleep with in minutes. She is such a beautiful baby and I could kiss and stare at her all day long ... if only I had the time!  She rolled for the first time the other day, from back to front. She smiles and laughs and is just perfect xx

Its funny on how everyone has an opinion on who your children look like.
However this close up could very easily be Harry.  I see a lot of Harry in Lucy now.  She looked a lot like Holly when she was born. I also think she is a lot like Katie as a baby and Mia?
Genetics are an amazing thing!

On the bottle and almost off the boob ... how sad.
Our little baby doll being wheeled around the house!
Could be twins! Leopard and Lucy.
Did I ever mention how glad I am that I never had twins?
loving that Jolly Jumper. Its such a good spot for it too. The doorway between the kitchen and playroom.

Lucy developed a strawberry spot when she was around 2 weeks old. From what we have been told and read up on, they seem to grow and then disappear around the age of two. I think its kind of cute.

My two big helpers

 I love you both
more than you will ever know

April catch up

A couple of weeks ago we had Danis 21st. It was a New York themed dress up party - us Freemans LOVE a good dress up party! Aunty Gabe made Holls the most Divine Audrey Hepburn dress (a mini Holly golightly from Breakfast at Tiffanys!) She looked AMAZING and beautiful and pulled it off perfectly ... and what 5 year old girl wouldn't want to wear this dress??!!
Holly and Harry got crafty before Easter and made their own Easter baskets. They also made one for Miles and one for Harrys kindy.

2 in the trolley and one in the baby bjorn! What an outing!
