Early morning random antics
Harry woke up this morning at 7am, troddled into our bedroom, climbed up onto our bed an put one of his hats on my head, then one on Andrews, then troddled back to his room and hopped back into bed!
He is one funny boy that most certainly marches to the beat of his own drum!

Funny saying
Harry has the funnies saying at the moment. When he is trying to convince me of something instead of saying "for real Mum!" which is what Holly says, he says;
"It's for my real life mum!"
It's very cute as he says it with such conviction!

When your tired....
Yesterday while Holly and I were at a party, Andrew was home with Harry and Lulu. Harry hurt himself, so Andrew picked him up and put him on the bench. Luce then started screaming so he left Harry, got Lucy only to find him like this 2 minutes later!!! He stayed like this, out like a light for s good 20 minutes, when I came home and transferred him to the couch - he didn't even flinch!6

Please put down your toast before reading.
I have been meaning to document this moment for a week. Not so much for the memory of it, but more so, so I can remember to bring it up on their 21st's.
Last Sunday we had a very lazy day. We all stayed in our Jammies most of the day until we went to Billy and 'Nets' for an early dinner.
Just before we left Harry was on our toilet and he called out as there was no toilet paper left, I got in there and cleaned him up and sent him out. 5 minutes later I realized Lucy wasn't in sight, I went to our bedroom and found her in the ensuite chewing on an empty toilet roll. I scooped her up and transferred her to the playroom. A few minutes later I could smell poo? I couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from. I started with Lucy, thinking she needed changing. She stank of poo, but not her nappy? I then realized she had been crawling in the bathroom!!! I scrubbed her clean, revolted by the fact she somehow had poo on her.
After she was all changed and clean, I was still baffled as to how she smelt like poo? I then walked back to our ensuite picked up that empty toilet roll only to find it covered in chunks of POO!!!! Putting 2 and 2 together, I quickly realized My darling Harry had resourcefully wiped his Bum with the toilet roll before calling me.
I swear I did not sign up for this shit when I had kids ... Literally!

Funnies
I was putting Harry to bed last night and while we were chatting I said to him;
Harry, you are going to be a seriously amazing man when you grow up.
To which he replied;
When I am a man, I'm going to be on Masterchef, do you know why?
Why? I asked
So I can make chocolate ... AND EAT IT ALL!!!!!!
I had a laugh, after he was asleep I was telling Andrew about the conversation, he laughed because he and Holly had just had a similar discussion .....
Andrew: Holly, I am SO proud of you.
Holly: for Jack in the beanstalk? (school production)
Andrew: no baby, just for being you!
Holly: (with out missing a best) Well who else would I be?????
We both had a good laugh. I just love how our kids think xx

A quick escape
Yesterday after a lovely catch up with the cousins in the botanical gardens, we had a mini holiday in the city. We checked into a suite at the Stamford Plaza, after a rest we trained it into the Melbourne Show. We stayed for the fireworks. The kids had fun and it was a nice little getaway in our own city.

Playdate
We had Ivrea over for the day (right up until bed time) The girls have known each other from birth, born 3 weeks apart. They have always got on really well and even though they really only catch up on the holidays now, it's like they saw each other yesterday. I hope they stay lifelong friends!
10 months ... Last week!
Well a lot has been going on this past month and I missed Lulu's 10 month update. She had her first flight to Qld where she met the rest of the family. She is now pulling herself up to standing, but not quite walking around furniture. She is eating a good 3 meals s day. She ate a whole sushi roll yesterday! She says Mama and Dada, but not in command and is still a placid little darling.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Last week Holly's school (pre prep to year 5) performed Jack and the beanstalk as their annual performance. Holly's class were little chickens- they were completely adorable and did a Stella job! We have realized though that nerves see Hol running for the loo!!!

My Godson
After a week on the Gold Coast, We packed up the car and drove to Brisbane. We spent 3 day with our very dear friends The Loadsmans, catching up in person over bottles of wine! I was honored to be asked to be A Godmother to William. We had the baptism on Sunday followed by a party for all 3 kids. It was a great weekend ... Thanks for having us!! Xx
Real carrots!
Finally, my little vege patch produced something more than carrot nubs or coil like carrots! We were very excited to pull these out this morning!!!
