 This is how Harry presented himself this morning after disappearing for a little while!

 Holly has been nagging asking me for weeks now for a "grown up beauty session"! This is mentioned in one of her books, and ever since reading it we havent heard the end of it!  So I gave her full range of my make up, and her face and mine .....

 and this was the result! Holly did a spectacular job of my make up too, however I don't think the www is ready to see my face at 8am made up by an almost 5 year old!

How cool is this! I am so far from a green thumb its not funny, but I am trying - half heatedly!

This is our first zucchini from our vege patch! ITS HUGE!!

I have just turned it into a gorgeous zucchini slice which was devoured for dinner tonight.

 I feel as though I have hardly posted any photos of our gorgeous Lulu.  Between everything thats been going on, the camera hasn't made it out of the bag much. So here are a few of our darling little Lucy.

 Luce is 7 weeks old now and getting much bigger.  I am still not able to pick her up (which is killing me) only 10 day until can though! She is smiling and starting to goo and ga which is cute. Andrew is doing pretty much all the work, and seems to have her in his arms 24/7.  She is starting to settle a little bit better at night and we have had a couple of night where she has gone 5-6 hours between feeds ... fingers crossed this keeps stretching out! She is oh so sweet and at her happiest when we are just cuddling her xx

 Last week when Nanny was here, I went in to check on Harry about an hour after he went to bed and this is how I found him! He had put his ugg boots on, started reading a book and ended up like this!

Harry was very lucky and got this cool work bench. He loves his power tools ... just like his Godfather!

And Holly was very excited with the barbie doll he bought her - spoilt rotton!

Happy New Year ... it's summer time!



A big Happy New Year to all our friends and family.  We hope 2012 brings you all the fun and happiness you deserve.  So this is where we are up to at ourfamilyfreeman ....
Its definitely summer time here, today we hit 40 degrees and we are absolutely loving Uncle Tim right now for working his butt off before Christmas to install our airconditioning system!
Mama  came out of hospital on Christmas eve and we had a nice quite Christmas this year.  Mama is recovering well and walking around nice and straight (as opposed to bent over - you will all notice a BIG improvement!)  The operation was pretty successful, we are 12 days in and its slowly getting better.  A few days after we got home, we put an SOS call out to Nanny, who then flew down 3 days later to help us.  Grandma has been amazing helping us out and so has Nanny and our good friend  Jeanette who looked after all 3 kids last week!
Holly has been going stir crazy after being cooped up in side for a week with a raging fever. She is now down in Rye hanging out with the Staffords having an absolute ball. 
Nanny goes home on Thursday and we will slowly start to return to normal.  I still have another 2 weeks of no lifting anything heavier than 2kgs and no sitting for longer than 5 mins.
2012 is going to be an AWESOME year in this house!!!



 We broke out the slip and slide this week.  I forgot how much fun those things were!

 I still haven't had a chance to clear my camera, but here are some photos from Xmas day.  It was a different Christmas.  Uncle Miles came around for breakfast, then the 5 of us had a lovely lunch together and then Andrew took Holly and Harry to Tim and Uyens for the big Christmas lunch while I stayed home and Grandma came and stayed with Luce and I for dinner.  There are a few more chrissy pix to come soon from the real camera!

Last night when he lost the plot over a lolly pop he found ... "Daddy said Harry not have lolly pop, but Harry does WANT lolly pop!

He is the funniest little boy, and has me laughing so much that I'm thankful for all the pelvic floor exercises I'm doing!!

 Lulu 5 weeks old

 This poor little girl has been so sick.  She wasn't feeling so well on Christmas day and then for the whole next week she spent her days in bed or on the couch.  She was so sick with fevers and vomiting all she wanted to do was sleep.  Luckily I think she has just come out of it and feeling a lot better.

Hollys last day of 4 year old Kinder

 The week before christmas was Hollys last day of kinder. She has had such a great year at Flamingo Kindergarten and if she had her way would stay there forever!
