Seriously, I thought tantrums came with the "twos" not "ones"?? This is Harry's latest party trick. If things don't go his way, this is the outcome. Luckily they don't last too long!

A date with Betty

Today we met with Betty. The lady who is the second best hairdresser in the whole entire world! She did a stella job on both mine, and Harry's hair this afternoon. Not only is she very talented and sought after hairstylist for tiny tots, she has a very glam studio full of plasmas showing The Wiggles and Hi5, and a total fit out of toys .... we want to go back next week just for a play!!!

For wondering all morning why there was dirt next to the hallway cupboard and then realizing 2 hours later (when Harry went to bed) that it was in fact an old cigar. Harry found it in a box and had chewed the top off it!! Nice ... and very deserving of the award!

Yes the category has been revised to Mother of the Week, from Mother of the Year. We thought it was a little unfair that this award was so few and far between. Our Mamma should be acknowledged and recognized more regularly, for her dedication to her wonderful work, as our Mamma .....

Lake Mountain

We loaded up the car (with enough clothes to last us a week!) and headed up to Marysville. It was the first time we have visited again since those catastrophic fires almost 2 years ago. The place is almost unrecognisable. We visited our friends, who are rebuilding. Only 19 of the 400+ homes in the area were saved.

We then layered up in our ski gear and headed up to lake mountain. Holly love it - a hell of a lot more than last time we took her! Harry was not so sure, but played around with us for a couple of hours. We finished with a pub meal in Healsville and pulled up at home with two completely zonked little Freemans! A successful trip to the snow!

Although snowmen and snowballs are fun, eating the snow was much more fun!

Mamma and Dadda just kept saying to watch out for yellow snow???

We flew down this hill. Mamma lost control and we went on a wild tobogganing adventure!

I worked out quite early that it was much easier getting to the top this way!

All done and time to head off the mountain ... see you next winter!!!

Butterflies and Boogers!

I just had to share with you a conversation that transpired the other morning.

Holly woke up at 7am, which is fine, however, ourfamilyfreeman does not rise until 7.30am. She stood beside our bed and Andrew had his back to her ...

Holly: Daddy I'm hungry, can you get me porridge?
Daddy: (ignores Holly hoping she will go back to bed - wishful thinking!)
Holly: Daddy, I'm really hungry
Daddy: (continues to ignore her)
Holly: Daddy quick, look, there's a butterfly on my finger!!!!
Daddy: (rolls straight over to look)
Holly: Tricked ya, its just a booger - Now can I have my porridge???
Daddy: (not impressed that he had been conned by a 3 year old, but had to laugh!!)

Mamma has been very busy lately, she made me this dress! You like?

She actually had a sewing night with Aunty Uyen and Aunty Gabe on saturday night, and I think if they had of eased up on the vino, I could have scored two dresses?????


Mamma figured out if she sticks me in like this I have no way of escaping!
It's working well so far!

Harry must have done this a dozen times before he tired tonight. I didn't quite get it on video, but he was actually doing it for the thrill of falling off the window sil! I thought it must have been a boy thing, then I remembered Holly's fascination of standing on the window sil at Mingana Road! Must be an age thing?

Nudie Crawl

Harry Barrry is still faster on all fours, and disappears in the blink of an eye. We could watch him crawl around nudie all day ...... and damn; that is one cute toosh!
