The Luckiest Guy on Earth

Not that there has ever been any doubt, the past week has highlighted that I have the most beautiful and wonderful family. The only thing that could have topped off this week would be having Em home with us. It has been wonderful spending such quality time with each of you. I have loved all the extra cuddles and kisses. Holly, Harry and Lucy, you are all such amazing beautiful little people, I am so lucky to be your Dad. Em, this week on several occasions I forgot to eat, clean my teeth and who knows what else! You seemingly effortlessly achieve so much everyday while embracing each of the kids (sometimes stubborn) awesome personalities. Mwah Mwah Mwah. I love you.

Last Day

Everyone is really missing Mum. This morning on the way to school Holly and Harry both chanted, we want Mummy.

While Holly was at school we were lucy to have our cousin's Indie and Piper come and play. Lou Lou was a little cranky.

To celebrate our final night we had an early dinner and bath so we can eat popcorn and watch happy feet. We want wait till tomorrow, we pick Mum up from the airport. Dad says we will have toasted sandwiches in the car for breaky.

With Holly at school and Harry at kindy I got to spend the whole day with Lucy. Lucy you are such a beautiful little girl. This whole week nothing has been a problem for you just give me your beautiful smile and go with the flow. I love you darling.

Park Time

After school today we went down to the Montrose park. Lucy loved the swing, she thought it was hilarious pushing her head back so she was swinging upside down. Holly is definitely a Spider Monkey, as nervous as I was she had so much confidence scaling anything she could with ease. Harry you are so gentle with little Lou Lou.

Everyone is missing Mummy. Today when Grandma came through the front door Harry called out 'Mummy's home. 3 more sleeps!

Ready, Steady, Go!

Today is ready, steady, go day for Harry. I think we might have to go to the driving range cause this could be the sport of choice for our little golfer. Harry you are such a good listener, did everything your teacher told you to do with no mucking around. Well done Boofa!

Time for Dad to look in eBay for kiddy golf clubs. Perfect sport for us to play together.

Swimming

Silly Dad got the times mixed up for our swimming lessons so we got there too late to swim. Anyway we were all dressed and ready so we thought we would take Lucy for her first swimming lesson. Lucy was a bit unsure at first but it didn't take before she was splashing and laughing. She was very relaxed lying on her back with her head on Dads shoulder.

They want Lucy to wear a yellow wrist band to let the lifeguards know she is younger the 5yrs, funny I thought that the fact she is a baby might have given it away.

Harry was very brave swimming and jumping into the deep end.

Holly was a little fish swimming to the bottom of pool and touching it.

I think Lucy used too much energy as she fell asleep in seconds!

Day 4

Today Mummy very kindly decided that Harry wouldn't go to kindly and spend the day with Dad, thanks Mum!

We packed some lunch headed to watch Holly at Gymnastics. We were a little early to we stopped at a nearby park for a picnic. Dad was very lucky as we are not normally allowed to have our parents watch but today was open day, so Dad, Harry and Lucy stayed to watch. What an awesome little gymnast.

After gymnastics and Lucy's sleep we had a walk and another play at the park. When we got we all made 'Pumpkin Soup - the best you ever tasted'!

Sunday Fun Day

Today we start Sunday Fun Day with some break bowl painting, can't wait to get them back next. After a little Lucy snooze we headed over to our cousins for some full on fun, sorry about the mess Uyenie! After some dinner it was time to head home and fall asleep in the car, dad love it when we fall asleep it makes bed time much quicker.

Happy Glaze Cafe

Today we thought we head down to Happy Glaze and paint some new breakfast bowls. Just waiting for the plain bowls to arrive.

Dear Holly, Harry, Lucy and of course my Darling Andrew,

Thank you so much for the most extravagant birthday present ever. I am going to miss you all so much.  I love you all more than you will ever know. Be good for Daddy kids (so he lets me go again one day!).  Thank you Andrew - This is just awesome.

Now not to rub it in, but I have a fully stocked bar behind me in the Qantas Business lounge and I intend to make the most of it!!!  Bon voyage family - I love you all to the moon and back!!!

Happy Birthday Mama!

An early birthday celebration before Mama flies to the big apple for a girls week away!!

9 months old!

Our darling Lulu hit 9 months old yesterday. It's incredible how much can happen in a month! Luce is confidently sitting alone, both on the floor and in the bath. She is up on all 4's and rocking her way to the land of mobility! She is so close. She can take a few crawls backwards - she is under strict instruction NOT to crawl while I am away!!! She can move at lightening speed in her walker and easily maneuver it to where she wants to go.
Holly still loves to hold her and Harry whispers sweet nothing's at her when no one is watching.
She can clap now and on cue and is mighty proud if herself when she does it! She can wave and is saying Dada ( but not always on cue). She most defiantly knows who is who and if we say "where is holly" she will look at her and grin her big beautiful smile.
We love you Lucy you are a sweet little princess. Xx

Glow in the dark bath!

Inspired by Aunty Pol, we dropped into the $2 shop on the way home from school yesterday and stocked up on glow sticks by the dozen ... The out come: A 6pm rave in the bath!!! A huge hit with Holly and Harry!
